IDEATION
Easier ways to find fitting typefaces.
Most type foundries require users to browse through a list of fonts and choose typefaces that fit their needs. Young designers struggle to find a matching typeface from numerous different fonts.
Instead of spending hours looking for a fitting typeface, what if we could combine the computer with the typeface searching process, by matching the user's goal to certain typefaces using artificial intelligence, finding the right typeface could be effortless.
DESIGN
User enter context
To begin the typeface searching process, user needs to enter a prompt to get started. The prompt could be anything, a description, a concept, whatever the user think is relatable to what they are looking for.
Fetching typefaces
Based on contents entered by the user, Yotype generated relatable tags and further matches tag to typefaces.
Modify Result
Users can make changes to the keywords and tags. As users edit tag or highlight a keyword, the algorithm scans the content, tries to understand the connection then applies it next time similar content is entered.
Typeface preview
Select on a typeface leads the user to an AI- generated poster of the typeface in use, giving uses a better understanding of how the typeface will look like in different use cases.
